Apartment Booking Terms & Conditions

Contracting parties

These terms and conditions apply to and form part of the contract between Prague Siesta Apartments and you, the customer.

Check In, Availability & Booking

Check in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Apartments must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Failure to vacate by this time may result in further charges. Desired availability of accommodation at the rates shown may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods.

Deposit and Pre-Payment

We will require the cost of 100% of the accommodation as a deposit. A reduced deposit may be negotiated for long term bookings. Please note all deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation and Amendments

PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing. If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking should you or any member of your party cause damage to the property, its furniture or contents or should you create a serious disturbance to any adjoining neighbours.

Car Parking

We have no parking place.

Cleaning

Unless otherwise agreed, the apartment is booked on a self catering basis. For stays in excess of one week, the price will include a full clean of the apartment including linen and towel change. Please note the weekly clean will not include the washing of dishes or removal of excess rubbish.

We are able to provide extra bed linen and towels by prior arrangement but an additional charge will apply.

Lost Keys

A charge of 500 CZK will be required for any lost keys.

Complaints and Comments

Any complaint or comment regarding your stay should be made to our office. Please kindly note complaints are more easily resolved while you are still in the property.

Prague Siesta Apartments reserves the right to charge your credit card or invoice you for any theft of or damage caused to the property during your stay. We will provide you with a full breakdown of such charges which may include an administrative fee to recover our costs.

General Information

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the information should we find such alterations necessary. Prague Siesta Apartments cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (such as fire, strikes, industrial action, technical problems with transport and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary, which is caused as a result of such events. Prague Siesta Apartments excludes all loss of valuables and damage to property and any direct, indirect or consequential losses suffered by you, other than death or personal injury resulting from a negligent act or omission by Prague Siesta Apartments, its officers or employees. If you have valuable items please discuss this with the office on arrival. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Insurance

Visitors are advised to ensure their own insurance covers any loss or damage to personal property during their stay and to ensure adequate personal and travel insurance is taken out.

Occupancy

The apartment is to be occupied only by the persons detailed on the booking form. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if it is found that there are persons occupying the apartment who are not included on the booking form and reserve the right to ask the entire party to vacate the premises. In these circumstances we also reserve the right to retain the damage deposit and there will be no refund for unused days.

In the event of any complaints of noise or disrespect and damge to the property, we reserve the right to require visitors to vacate the premises with immediate effect, and with no compensation for unused days.

We reserve the right to decline any bookings where we have reason to believe that the customer will not use the apartment responsibly. This could include behavior contrary to good morals and public order.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice, however, your price is guaranteed once you have received confirmation. If you are a business customer we may be able to offer credit terms up to 28 days. Please refer to your invoice.

Smoking

Please be advised that all of our apartments are non-smoking. Failure to comply with our non-smoking policy will result in a 2000 CZK cleaning charge.

Pets

Are permitted strictly by prior arrangement only.

Right of Entry

Employees of Prague Siesta Apartments or nominated person shall be allowed access to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

Privacy Statement

Your address and credit card details are kept merely for the informational purposes of the credit card company and the address details are not passed on to any other third parties. Any other information that we keep about you is held and used strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

House Rules

  • Please do not smoke inside the apartment. Smoking on the terrace is allowed, though.
  • If you want to bring a pet with you, please consult us in advance. Most pets are allowed and welcome in our apartments.
  • You can get an extra key to your apartment in reception, if you need two keys.
  • Please be careful with the keys. Make sure you never put the key in the lock from the inside – it is not necessary (the doors cannot be opened from the outside without a key), plus you will prevent a potential necessity of the lock exchange. If this should happen, you will be charged 2000 CZK for lock replacement.
  • If your suitcase has wheels, please do not drag it inside the apartment - it damages the floor.
  • Please do not unplug the Wi-Fi modem. In case of problems contact the staff.
  • Please respect (y)our neighbours, especially after 10pm!
  • Please keep the main latticed gate closed and locked after 10pm.
  • For each guest, there is one large and one small clean towel and bedding available. Please do not use towels to dry up the bathroom floor! For that purpose, there is a cloth (most probably under the sink). Toiletries are available in the bathroom. If you need additional towels, ask the staff.
  • We do not provide everyday cleanup, however, you can ask the staff anytime you think your apartment needs cleaning.
  • If you need to wash your clothes, we will wash them for you for a voluntary fee. Feel free to ask the staff.
  • If you are coming with a little child, you can borrow a high chair or a cot for kids in reception.
  • Please switch off all the lights everytime before you leave the appartment.
  • In winter time and late autumn, please make sure that you understand how to control the heating.
